My impressions about Russian way of living

It was my first time staying in Russia. Almost everything in Russia caused a lot of new emotions, that’s why I will never forget this trip. Of course I will share my experience with you. So let’s begin!
Firstly, it is necessary to say that I’ve decided to learn Russian in the small town in Karelia called Petrozavodsk. My host family was really good. They were very kind and patient to me. Every morning my host mum gave me a lot of food and she usually became offended if I couldn’t eat everything. It was so amusing!
Of course I was strongly impressed by Russian people. They seem to be very energetic and dynamic. Even now I can’t imagine how they manage to do a great deal of work. After busy day, and even if they are tired, they go to bar or night club and have fun. They are really full of energy.
Nevertheless the most vivid recollection is connected with one weekend, when my family took me to their dacha. It was a very beautiful village. Nature was marvelous!!! I was admiring small blue lake surrounded by beautiful green forest. I saw a hair running across the road. It was the first time when I saw this funny animal with my own eyes. Before that I have never heard about Russian “banja’!!!! It was fantastic!!! After it I felt like I was flying, it seemed that all bad things have disappeared! After banja I drank strong hot tea and ate very delicious pancakes!
I also had a trip to open-air museum Kizhi Island. It is a real miracle, very beautiful churches impressed me greatly too. I think that every foreigner has heard about it!!! I can add that it is definitely worth seeing!
So finally I suggest that Russia is country of different contrasts. Russian people amazed me, and I made a lot of friends with whom I hope I will continue to communicate. Russian lifestyle is crazy and I really like it!
