Today we are glad to welcome a new group of students from Belgium, Austria, and Italy. In a week some more students from Estonia will join us. Moreover, we have five students from Belgium, so we are sure, these students will find much in common :) Some of our guests are going to take part in the 2 week Russian courses, others in the 4 week course.

Spring Russian Courses“The Russian language course was flexible enough to accommodate whatever as part of grammar on subject I was interested in. The Russian teacher was very patient. I learnt so much from her, and she also gave me a lot of conversation practice in Russian, which was exactly what I asked for. All the volunteers were lovely. They were so generous with their time, and were always willing to help us. I really had a great time in Russia and Petrozavodsk and hope to return soon!!!” Karelia is so beautiful in the spring. In March it’s still possible to ski and skate under the March sun. In April you’ll watch the first buds appear and the first young grass starts growing. In May the white nights will start to amaze tourists, they are the symbol of St. Petersburg and Petrozavodsk. And it is so nice to learn Russian during these lovely days!
This Russian language course is for highly motivated people seeking the individual tuition to make fast progress in the Russian language. This course is entirely tailor-made to fit your needs. Lessons are taught by qualified Russian language teachers.
The standard course is 20 hours/ week. We recommend taking a minimum of a 2-week Russian course, maximum as you wish. You are welcome to put the dates of classes which are most convenient for you in the period from March till May.
All levels are offered: from beginners to the third certificate level.

This individual 2-week intensive Russian language course is specially designed for the businessmen whose professional interests are connected with Russia. Qualified and professional teachers will help you succeed in learning Business Russian in a short time. Basic or the first certificate level of Russian is required.
The standard Business Russian course includes 60 hours per 2 weeks. The duration of the course can be longer if necessary. You are welcome to put the dates of classes which are most convenient for you all year round.

This program is intended for anyone who is looking for intensive Russian language training in a small group (2-3 students). Classes take place from Monday to Friday and there are 20 classes of 45 minutes each per week.
Course “Easy Russian”, elementary level
This Russian language course is designed for the people who have learned a minimum of 100 language hours or who have studied before. The emphasis is laid on conversation on everyday themes, pronunciation, basic grammar, and understanding of simple texts (oral and written). The instructions are given in Russian with minimum English.

Course "Let's speak Russian", basic level This intensive Russian language course is intended for the people who have studied Russian for 300 hours and want to activate and improve Russian language skills.
Emphasis is laid on conversation on everyday themes, pronunciation, basic grammar, and understanding of simple texts (oral and written). The instructions are given in Russian with minimum English. Curriculum is here
Course "Easy about difficult things", first certificate level This intensive Russian language course is intended for people who have studied Russian for 900 hours and want to activate and improve Russian language skills. Emphasis is laid on improvement of listening and speaking skills and essential grammar. The instructions are given in Russian. Course "About Russia and Russians in Russian", second certificate level. This intensive Russian language course is intended for people with a good proficiency in Russian who have studied Russian for 1200 hours. Emphasis is laid on reading and speaking skill improvement, understanding of radio and TV programs, films, and conversation on different social and cultural themes, reading of modern and classical Russian literature, and enlarging special vocabulary. Apply This 2-month unique course is perfect for people who want to take a Russian language course and participate in a volunteer project. Staying with a Russian host family will improve your Russian language significantly and participating in cultural activities will give you a real idea about Russia, its history, people, and traditions.
The language course lasts for one month, classes take place from Monday to Friday.
The volunteer project lasts for one more month; work takes place from Monday to Friday (5 hours a day). Participating in the volunteer project is the perfect way to master your Russian for free. You can choose which field to volunteer in:
1) Creating cultural projects - preparing and organizing cultural activities aimed at acquainting Russian youth with foreign countries;
2) Working with children - acquainting children with foreign countries, cooking, sports, music, and computer classes;
3) Assisting in a library - scanning rare books and translation work.

This Russian language course is specially designed for students studying Russian as their major. The course is focused on developing communicative skills. We have had a good experience hosting Slavist students from the USA, Ireland, Switzerland, Belgium, and Finland. We welcome the individual students and the organized groups (recommended group size is 6 people).
Our teachers will design the special study Russian language course for the group according to their wishes and level. The levels are offered: from basic to the third certificate level. We offer 8-week courses. There are 20 classes of 45 minutes each per week.
