CALL FOR FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHERS

We are looking for creative teachers of English, German, Finnish, Spanish, Italian and French for participating in a 3 month language exchange project in Russia: The language project is aimed at acquainting Russian children, youth and adults with diversity of European languages and cultures. The project lasts for 3 months.

The candidate teacher should meet the following criteria: be able to work as a foreign language teacher during 3 months in summer or autumn 2009, have some teaching experience and basic skills in designing the curriculum, be able to obtain Russian visa for 3 months, Russian is NOT required

The selected teacher is expected to perform the following tasks: designing the curriculum of the language course, giving 20 language hours per week, participate in methodic seminars for teachers participate in intercultural events

Conditions for selected teachers: accommodation in Russian families is provided free, Russian language course (6 hours per week) is offered free, visa support is provided, teachers will be granted an honorarium for their work. The deadline for applications is December 19.
