Dear Betty, I understand you very well - it's a wonderful place to visit! As soon as you are interested in history and architecture it will be especially interesting and useful for you. Excursion to the Kizhi Island is one of the most popular excursions in our program, so you are welcome to take part in it! _________________ Learn and enjoy Russian with us http://enjoyrussian.com |

Don’t worry Robert! There are lots of free activities like parties, presentations, picnics and so on. Many activities are cheap enough (local museums, cinemas). You can visit St. Petersburg by the way to Petrozavodsk. Still I would recommend you the excursion to the open air museum Kizhi, it is 65 euro but this place is worth to visit! _________________ Learn and enjoy Russian with us http://enjoyrussian.com |

| I have already been to Petrozavodsk two times and I must confirm, that Kizhi is really worth seeing (unlike Kivach, hahah) ! I fell in love with that island, even if I´m not particularly interested in architecture, I just like nice things around me. The feeling of the island is special...trust me! And if you don´t have money for some trips, you still can hang over and chat with the local people, stroll the city and have fun:) It´s for free and the best language school, you can ever attend! And you can always buy a train ticket, go to some village and have a wonderful trip in a Karelian countryside:) |

Hello, guys!!!
Actually I'm not interested much in sightseeing. I mean it IS exciting but I'd rather go work out; swim in a swiming pool or go to a gym.
Oh, are three such options in Petrozavodsk?? |

Tasha, of course there are such options . There is one modern swimming pool in the center of the city and lots of gyms, you can choose the nearest to your home one !
Of course you are free to choose what to do and to visit, but I am sure you will enjoy going to cafes, bars and clubs with other students . Some excursions are really very interesting, but you can decide what to visit upon your arrival in Petrozavodsk ! _________________ Learn and enjoy Russian with us http://enjoyrussian.com |
