They are all different but might be extremely useful for learning Russian.
The Coach. An inspirational and heart-warming Russian sports drama
The superstar of Russian cinema, Danila Kozlovsky starts and debuts as the film director of this dynamic sports drama. Released in the lead up to the World Cup (which was hosted in Russia last year), the movie captures the emotion and the spirit of the world of Russian football through the travails of a provincial club struggling for purpose while its new coach fights for redemption. The movie shows the power of love in shaping a fallen star’s redemption and, the vital role that coaches play in turning around the fortunes of a struggling community, by bringing everyone together and supporting a shared goal.
Sobibor. The story of a Soviet officer
Sobibor is based on a legendary and true story of the Sobibor concentration camp revolt and escape. This was the only successful mass breakout from a Nazi extermination camp in history.
This is a remarkably uplifting story that shows the endurance of the human spirit in the fight for survival. The film tells the story of a Soviet officer, Alexander Pechersky, who organizes a mass escape from Sobibor, a prison camp in Nazi-occupied Poland. The movie has been praised for its historical accuracy.
In the hood. Feel the atmosphere of Vladivostok
A thriller about two friends who chase girls and enjoy fast cars. Vova and his best friend Kisa do odd jobs for the local mafia in Vladivostok in order to make ends meet. However, one job brings their thrill ride to an end as it forces them to question their morality and their friendship. Based on a true story, this is an edgy movie filmed in the atmospheric port city of Vladivostok.
