Why did I choose your school? Because I’ve heard about you many times!

People recommend learning Russian with Enjoy Russian language school
Our school is the place where people from different world corners get together. We asked the students, how did they find us and what was the impetus for choosing Enjoy Russian as an educational platform for 2, 4 or even 12 weeks. And more than 30% of people say it was his/her friend’s advice.
The quality of the courses
The majority of students touch upon high quality of classes and professional teachers. “I’m staying here in Petrozavodsk for two weeks in a school for learning Russian. The school was recommended to me by a friend of mine in Berlin and I’m very pleased and very happy to be here. I took 2-week course and I was positively surprised. It was very professionally done, I’ve learnt a lot! I will come back as soon as I can!” – our student Klaus from Germany.
The quality of the homestay
It happens very often that foreign students become a part of Russian family. Hospitality plays a very important role here. They introduce students to friends, organize dinners with many guests, spend evenings discussing recent news or just chit-chatting. Depending on students interests family can buy tickets to the theater, exhibition or rock concert or to invite a student to share nice evening in Datcha. Never intrusive but always caring. Remember we told you about Edward Hall’s theory? Russia is high context culture which means people have strong bonds as well as high commitment to long-term relationships. Many words are unsaid and many rules are unwritten but people are still aware of them keeping all this extra information in mind. The Russians don’t wait the moment you ask us for help. They can read between the lines.
The city itself is nice
Petrozavodsk is the place where you never get bored, says Elizabeth Tobin. And she is absolutely right. You are offered so many options starting with making national food or costumes to visiting unique cultural and historical places. It’s a hometown for only 260 000 people. It goes without saying that you feel more comfortable and secure here than anywhere else. But the most important thing is that you see the way Russian people live. Plus you can take a bus or car and visit the most beautiful Russian villages, national parks and reserves. People are more open to communication. That’s the advantage of a small city. “In Moscow or St. Petersburg you can only see crowds of business people caring about their own stuff” says Eleanor Fawcett.
